Advanced Grow Lights Directory Relaunch: Verified Grow Light Data, At Scale
The Advanced Grow Lights directory is back — rebuilt, expanded, and built to last.
If you’ve visited before, you’ll notice things look different. If you’re new here, welcome: this is a directory of commercial-grade horticultural grow lights built around one principle — verified performance data, not marketing copy.
What’s changed
We now publish listings for 35+ active brands across 57+ fixtures, covering LED, HID, and specialty lighting for commercial cultivation. Every listing we publish includes:
- Wattage and PPF output (µmol/s) sourced from manufacturer spec sheets
- Efficacy (µmol/J) for direct apples-to-apples comparison
- Dimming type, certifications, and warranty
- Spectrum type — and where data exists, audited IES files and lab-verified PPFD figures
If a spec isn’t verified, it doesn’t appear. You’ll see blank fields before you see a number we can’t back up.
How we work
AGL is an AI-assisted, human-approved operation. We use a combination of AI tools to research specs, draft listings, and keep data current at a scale a small team couldn’t manage manually. Every listing and every published decision goes through human review before it goes live.
We’re transparent about this because we think it’s an advantage — for buyers who need accurate data fast, and for manufacturers who want their specs represented correctly.
Browse the directory
The directory is live now. You can filter by manufacturer, compare up to three fixtures side-by-side, and sort by efficacy, wattage, or brand.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Advanced Grow Lights?
Advanced Grow Lights is an independent horticultural lighting directory publishing verified grow light specs — including PPF output, efficacy (µmol/J), and spectrum data — for commercial cultivators who need reliable performance data before making purchasing decisions.
How are listings verified?
We cross-reference manufacturer spec sheets, published IES files, and lab test data. If a spec isn’t confirmed, the field stays blank rather than showing an unverified figure. Accuracy over completeness — always.
Which grow light brands are listed?
The directory covers 35+ active brands including Horticulture Lighting Group, Gavita, DimLux, Fluence, California Lightworks, PL Light Systems, Lumatek, Spider Farmer, Mars Hydro, and more. New brands are added as verified spec data becomes available.
Is the directory free to use?
Yes — browsing is completely free. Manufacturers can claim or upgrade their listing with verified specs, IES files, and featured placement. See pricing and listing tiers.
What specs does AGL publish for each grow light?
Each listing includes wattage, PPF output (µmol/s), efficacy (µmol/J), spectrum type, dimming capability, certifications, coverage area, and warranty length. Where available, we also publish audited PPFD maps and IES file references.
