Terms and Conditions

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Black Dog LED products are warranted against manufacturer defects to the original owner from the date of original purchase for the expected lifetime of the light. In the event of defective materials and/or workmanship, Black Dog Grow Technologies, Inc., will repair or replace, at its option, the defective product within 45 days from receipt of the defective product for the first three years after purchase. After three years and up to 5 years from the original date of purchase, the customer will be responsible for labor associated with repairs and Black Dog LED will be responsible for the cost of parts. After 5 years Black Dog LED will offer repair services or parts as long as parts are available; the cost of repairs and parts after 5 years are the sole responsibility of the customer. Shipping of the defective product to Black Dog LED is the sole responsibility of the customer. Return shipping of the repaired light is covered by Black Dog LED up to $50 per incident for the first three years after purchase. In the first three years after purchase, if return shipping will exceed $50, the customer will be notified and are responsible for paying any amount of shipping over $50 prior to the product being shipped back to the customer. After three years, the customer is responsible for paying for return shipping prior to the product being shipped back to the customer. The Warranty does not apply to damage resulting from, but not limited to, improper care, housings that have been opened, misuse, exposure to caustic or corrosive chemicals including but not limited to fumes caused by burning sulfur, or normal wear and tear, which includes but is not limited to 5% or less of LEDs not lighting, improper installation, and/or failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance, improperly packaging and shipping the light back to Black Dog LED, etc. Owners will be notified when repairs are completed, if the light is not claimed within 45 days of being notified the light will become the property of Black Dog LED.

90 DAY RETURN POLICY

If you are unsatisfied with any Black Dog LED light, you can return it for a refund within 90 days from the original purchase date. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be requested and the product shipped within 90 days of the original date of receipt. Returns are limited to one (1) light per customer. All items must be returned in “as new” condition in the original packaging and include all accessories. Lights that have been broken, damaged, altered, or had the housing opened are not returnable. “Damaged” includes but is not limited to water damage and damage resulting from being dropped and/or incorrect electrical connection. Returns will be charged a 10% restocking fee. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend using a carrier that has tracking capabilities when sending returns. The customer assumes responsibility for return shipping fees, insuring the return shipment, and filing any necessary claims for damaged or lost returns.

FREE SHIPPING

Free shipping on lights is available for orders with a delivery address in the 48 contiguous United States and Canada (excluding the Yukon, Northwest Territory, Nova Scotia and Nunavut). All free shipping will be via UPS Ground with signature confirmation and includes insurance. The customer must ensure a responsible party is available to sign for the light. If a light is returned under the 90-day return policy, the cost of the shipping to the customer will be deducted from the refund in addition to any restocking or damage fees.

SHIPPING DAMAGE

Shipping damage and defective products must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of shipment (not including weekends and holidays).

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are only offered in the event that your item has not yet shipped. If your product has not yet shipped, it can be cancelled at no charge. After 90 days from original purchase date, all sales are final.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Scynce warrants that for a period of five (5) years* from the date of shipment of its Products (“Warranty Period”), the Products will conform to specifications published by Scynce for each Product in effect as of the date of shipment of the Product (“Specifications”). All Specifications are based on LM80 data sheets from their respective LED chip manufacturers. This translates into Scynce warrantying that during the Warranty Period the light will maintain at least 80% of its original light output and that no more than 10% of the LEDs will fail.

With respect to any Product confirmed by Scynce as not conforming to its respective Specification during the Warranty Period (“Defective Product”), Scynce will, in its sole discretion, repair or replace the Defective Product free of charge.** Scynce will also pay shipping and handling fees associated with the repaired or replaced Defective Product anywhere within the continental United States of America.*** Shipping outside the continental U.S.A. may incur additional fees at Buyer’s expense. The Warranty Period is not extended for repaired or replaced Products.

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY ABOVE, SCYNCE MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY (A) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY; (B) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (C) WARRANTY OF TITLE; OR (D) WARRANTY AGAINST INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS OF A THIRD PARTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE, OR OTHERWISE.

This Limited Product Warranty does not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c) improper use; (d) failure to follow Product instructions; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair; (g) normal wear and tear (including powder coat); (h) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond Scynce’ reasonable control and the Limited Product Warranty does not apply to Products whose ownership cannot be verified.

Buyer must: (a) obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number either by calling 480-256-0017 or requesting an RMA via email at [email protected] during the Warranty Period; (b) ship the Product prepaid to Scynce at 4641 E. Ivy St., Mesa, AZ 85205; (c) include a copy of the original invoice or product registration (“Documentation”); (d) clearly mark the RMA number on the Documentation and on the outside of the packaging used for shipment; and (e) include a description of the non-conformity specifically relating to a performance parameter associated with the Product’s Specification (“Defect”), along with the Buyer’s physical return address (no P.O. Boxes) and contact information to include, at a minimum, Buyer’s phone number and email address in order to request warranty service.****

THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE BUYER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND REPRESENTS SCYNCE’ ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SCYNCE’ LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY BUYER FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL SCYNCE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.

*5-year Warranty Period applies only to lighting fixtures. All other Products sold by Scynce are warrantied for a period of 1 year from the date of shipment.

**Certain replacement options may require a credit card hold based on the current MSRP of the replacement item.    

***Only if the Defective Product is returned within the first ninety (90) days of the Warranty Period (“Initial Period”).  Scynce will pay the return shipping and handling fees for the repaired or replaced Defective Product if the Defective Product is returned after the Initial Period but before the first year of the Warranty Period has expired.  Buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling fees if the Defective Product is returned after the first year of the Warranty Period has expired.

****Scynce reserves the right to revoke any previously authorized RMA due to damage caused to the defective Product by inadequate return packaging.  100% of the replacement item’s MSRP will be charged to Buyer’s credit card in the event that Buyer fails to return the defective Product within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the RMA number.

2 Year Warranty

Dorm Grow LED

Provides a warranty on our LED grow lights under normal conditions of use, to be free from defects for 24 months from the original date of purchase date, per the limitations listed below.  We will at our discretion, repair or replace the malfunctioning product.  If you need to initiate a warranty claim, please email [email protected] with your order number along with a picture of the front and back of the light.

Quick Turnaround

We are a customer-centric company and understand that time is of the essence when having to repair or replace a malfunctioning light. We will minimize the turnaround time for any warranty repairs so the customer can have a fully functioning light in a timely manner. In most cases, lights will be repaired/replaced within 3 days of receipt.

Limitation of Damages

If during the 24 month warranty period any Dorm Grow LED light proves defective, please contact Dorm Grow for warranty repair by emailing your order number to [email protected] along with a picture of the front and back of the light. Defects or failures arising due to alteration, misuse, negligence, exposure to excessive moisture, fire, excessive heat, corrosive or damaging substances shall not be covered by this warranty. Dorm Grow’s liability for any breach of warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement with a non-defective part or product of similar specifications. The warranty will be considered breached if more than ten percent of the diode chips are inoperable. This warranty covers parts and labor for damages specifically detailed above. The warranty is to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Dorm Grow shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This disclaimer applies during and after the warranty period.

60 Day Return Policy – LED Grow Light

At Dorm Grow, customer Service is our highest priority. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable shopping experience and high-quality products that will encourage you to continue to shop with us. If you need to return an LED grow light you purchased from Dorm Grow, please send an email to [email protected] to get a return authorization approved with return instructions.

If you would like to return an item that is in like-new condition with original packaging, you may return the product within 60 days of your purchase date for retail orders. Customers will be responsible for shipping fees. A limit of three lights per customer will be accepted for returns. Returned orders will be refunded the full item amount paid, less a 3% merchant fee which goes to the credit card processor. Once the returned item has been received and verified to have all original contents and packaging and confirmed to be free of damage, a refund will be applied to your credit card or payment account. Email us prior to returning any item. To prevent abuse of the return policy, a return will not be approved for customers who have previously purchased and returned items from our store. Before you return an item, re-pack the item in the original box with original packaging material.

Send the returned item to the address provided and email us the tracking number. It is important to provide the tracking number of your return so that we can confirm the delivery of the item. If we are unable to confirm delivery of your item, this may result in the delay or denial of a refund. Only non-wholesale orders are eligible for returns. Wholesale orders are not eligible for return.

Cancellation Request

If you would like to cancel an order that has not shipped you must send an email request to [email protected]. You will receive an email acknowledging your cancellation request. Please allow up to 72 hours for confirmation of cancellation. Canceled orders will be refunded less a 3% merchant fee which goes to the credit card processor. If an order has shipped it cannot be canceled. If you would like to return the shipped item you will need to follow the Return Policy.

3 Year Warranty

If you are contracting as an E.U. consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within 14 calendar days, beginning on the day after you received the product(s). You must notify us via email/letter and quote your order number in any communication. Notification by telephone is not sufficient. Customers outside the E.U. may cancel the order without any fees before the order is shipped. For customers outside the E. U. once the order is shipped if they refuse the order due to customs charges and return the order we will refund the order value less delivery charge and a repacking charge of 10% of the order value.

You must also return the product(s) to us immediately, in the same condition in which you received them, and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.

Once the cancelled products are received by us, we will refund your debit or credit card or issue a cheque or bank transfer, within 14 days, for the full amount paid, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) less the collection charge we paid for the collection of the goods, if applicable.

Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you do not return the goods in the required manner, as described above, we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. All original items delivered must be returned with the refund request. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. If some parts are missing, we may be unable to accept the return or may make a deduction for missing parts.

When returning goods under the 14 day cooling off period, if the goods are not in a saleable condition or if the goods have been unnecessarily handled we reserve the right to offer only a partial refund.

A full statement of your legal rights under The Consumer Contracts Regulations may be obtained in the EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (UNFAIR TERMS IN CONSUMER CONTRACTS) REGULATIONS, 1995.

If the goods supplied to you appear to have been damaged before receipt by you, then you should notify us via email, letter or web mail by logging into your account area within 72 hours of receipt. Failure to notify us within 72 hours of receipt will result in the determination that any physical damage occurred whilst in your care.

If you suspect that the goods are faulty, and wish to return them, you must contact us within 72 hours of discovering the fault and submit an RMA (Return Material Authorisation) request.. A RMA is an email from the buyer to the seller referencing the order number and confirming the buyers wish to return the goods. On receipt of this request we will issue you with an RMA number, this number must be referenced in the returns delivery paperwork. We may make suggestions that could resolve any issues or may suggest that you return the product to us for inspection. In the event of a return, we will examine the returned product and, if you are entitled, we will notify you of your options by email to either a repair, a replacement or a refund. We will usually process your elected repair, replacement or refund as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you confirm whether you opt for repair or replacement, or within 14 days of the day you opt for a refund for the defective product.

Due to the nature of the goods supplied, we recommend original packaging is used. We will only confirm that the item has arrived back to us in a satisfactory condition once we have opened and inspected the item.

If on return your goods are found to be in working order, a no fault found fee will be charged. This will be either €50 or 10% of the sale value of the item, whichever value is highest.

Non EU customers who refuse the order due to customs charges and return the order will be refunded less delivery fees and a repacking charge of 10% of the order value.

Return/Refund Policy

Medic Grow wants you to be completely satisfied with every item that you purchase from us and are committed to your satisfaction. If you are not happy with your purchase we will gladly provide you with a refund under the following conditions:

  • All returns must be pre-authorized by emailing us at [email protected] 
  • All returns must be received/confirmed before Medic Grow send a replacement.
    Please provide:
    • your original order number (Can be found in your order placement email),
    • your name (and/or the name the item was ordered under),
    • the product picture you are returning.
    • and the product Lot No.(17 characters).
  • Items purchased in store must be returned in store
  • Returns must be accompanied by original receipt, in original condition with all original packaging.
  • Return shipping is your responsibility, so we advise you use a service that has tracking capabilities for insurance reasons
  • Special orders (anything not in stock) are not returnable so be sure you know what you want before ordering please. If you are unsure of the option to return an item, please call us.

Upon authorization, returns must confirm the return address with us.

Damaged Returns
We endeavor to ensure your package arrives to you safe and intact. Occasionally however, you may receive a product that has been damaged during shipping. In such cases we will make every effort to obtain your replacement as quickly as possible, at no cost to you. In order to satisfy our insurer, damaged goods must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. If damage does occur, please review our policies below for receiving and returning damaged items:

Outside Damage to Package Only
If you receive a package with obvious damage to the outside of the box or packaging but believe the item inside is intact, please make written note of this with the courier when signing for your package. If no mention is made of external damage, we cannot be responsible for any product damage and will not accept a return or issue a refund.

Damage to Package and Contents
If a package appears significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery of the item. It will then be returned to the place of origin. Please notify us immediately if this occurs and we will make arrangements for a replacement to be sent to you as soon as possible. PLEASE NOTE: Original product lead times may apply on the replacement product.

Damage to Contents Only
If your intact package is found to hold damaged contents, DO NOT throw away the original packaging. Please contact us immediately and follow the steps below.

For any of the previous scenarios please follow these return instructions:

  • Take photos of damages to items & photos of any damage to package
  • Contact us at [email protected] or call us. Please provide your original order number (if applicable), your name (or the name the item was ordered under), and the product you are returning (with photos). You will be given a return authorization number which you may need to submit with your returned item.
  • Arrangements will be made for replacement of your damaged item at no cost to you. Please note that your original product lead time may apply for a replacement.
  • We will instruct you on how or if to return the damaged product for replacement
  • Refunds will not be issued on damaged goods. A replacement will always be sent in a timely manner.

Medic Grow reserves the right to refuse or issue a refund/replacement item in the event that the item is found to have suffered damage after delivery or has been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to improper operation.

Defective Merchandise

All defective merchandise will be replaced or repaired under the manufacturer’s warranty. Used equipment carries a 5 year warranty.

Mars Hydro Warranty

Warranty Provided:

Subject to the exclusions set forth below, Mars Hydro warrants its LED Grow Lights, inline duct fans, and heat mats to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a fixed duration from the date of shipment from Mars Hydro. Details are listed below:

Most LED grow lights are covered by a five (5) year limited warranty, including:

Within (1) year. Full-cover warranty: Free components, free repair service, free shipping costs.

(1)-(5) years. Limited warranty: Free components, the buyer is responsible for repair costs and shipping costs.

All inline duct fans are covered by a two (2) year full-cover warranty.

All heat mats are covered by a one (1) year full-cover warranty.

● Linear LED grow lights: “TS600” & “SP150” are covered by an EXCEPTIONAL five(5) year limited warranty, including:

  • (0)-(3) months. Full-cover warranty: Offer free substitute LED lighting, free shipping costs.
  • (3)-(12) months. Limited warranty: Offer free substitute LED lighting, the buyer is responsible for shipping costs and potentially incurred product upgrade costs.
  • (1)-(5) years. Limited warranty: Offer trade-ins to get new LEDs at 30%-50% off.


The Warranty applies only when:

●Sales are made through the Mars Hydro direct websites, or through authorized distributors or retailers, or through authorized third-party platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Aliexpress, Cdiscount, etc.

●Products are installed in applications in which ambient conditions are within the range of intended operating conditions.

   LED grow lights – Ambient temperatures≦40℃ (104℉)

   Inline duct fans – Ambient temperature≦30℃ (86℉); Relative humidity≦65%

   Heat mats – Ambient temperature≦40℃ (104℉)

●Failure of the LED Products that is NOT a result of external causes, including acts of nature; human damage; improper or unauthorized use; or any other occurrences beyond Mars Hydro’s reasonable control. Adequate operation records must be provided

to Mars Hydro upon request to substantiate that the Products have failed to comply with the terms of this Limited Warranty.

Please Note:

●Discontinued Mars Hydro grow lights[“ECO”, “ PROII”, “MARSI”, “MARSII”, “REFLECTOR”, “MARSCOB”]are no longer covered by warranty; replacement parts of them are unavailable as well. Please purchase alternatives.

●No warranty for Mars Hydro grow tents.

●Warranty claims regarding the Products must be submitted in writing within (30) days of discovery of the defect or failure to Mars Hydro post-sales[[email protected]] or authorized sales representative.

●Products may be required to be returned for inspection and verification of non-conformance by Mars Hydro but no Products or will be accepted for inspection, verification or return unless accompanied by a “Return Request” from Mars Hydro solution team.

●Mars Hydro reserves the right to modify or discontinue this Limited Warranty without notice provided that any such modification or discontinuance will only be effective with respect to any Products purchased after such modification or discontinuance.

Warranty Procedure

Read before you submit any warranty requests. Mars Hydro Solutions Team will be at your service as soon as possible.

(1)Your Order information. Include order number, purchase platform, order email.

(2)A detailed description of the issue.

(3)Photos of all labels on the original box. (if preserved)

(4)Associated proof of the faulty/defective products. Photos and videos will help our team to provide proper warranty service faster.

Substitute-Lighting Service

There may be times when your plants need lighting so badly that you are unable to return a working LED grow light to Mars Hydro for inspection and repair, and Mars Hydro will provide you with temporary substitute lighting so as to carry out the warranty

procedure without suspending your plant’s growth.

●A deposit will be charged for the substitute lighting.

●You will be responsible for the round-trip expenses of the substitute lighting.

●The substitute shall be returned in one week after receiving the repaired light.

●The deposit paid at the beginning will be refunded once the substitute lighting is received and is in good condition.

Shipments Issued From China: Mars Hydro ONLY offers free components/accessories within 5 years in the condition that the buyer is responsible for all the costs incurred – including shipping costs, customs costs, etc.
